Platform-specific tactics (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
Every platform has its own language, audience and logic. Practical tactics for being credible and effective on each one - while respecting the platform rules.

Many people make the mistake of copying the same content one-to-one onto every platform, then wonder why it does not work. The reality is that every platform has a different audience, a different cultural code and a different algorithm. A LinkedIn-style professional tone feels odd on TikTok, while a fast TikTok trend gets lost on LinkedIn. In this lesson we go through it platform by platform, looking at what is worth paying attention to - always while respecting the platform rules and maintaining a credible presence.
Facebook: the platform of connection and community
Facebook's strength is deeper connection and community building. What works well here are longer, story-based posts, questions that spark real conversation, and topic-focused, value-driven groups. Your personal profile should be about connecting, not a promotional space - constant, blatant selling repels people here especially quickly.
If you are building a group, keep the focus on giving value and on the members' experience, not on recruitment. A well-run community feeds itself over time, because the members give value to one another too. Avoid mass, impersonal messaging and adding people to groups uninvited - these violate both the spirit of the platform and your own credibility.

Instagram and TikTok: visuals and short video
Instagram is the terrain of aesthetics and visual storytelling. The feed is your brand's shop window, Stories is the tool for daily, human closeness, and Reels is for reach. Here a consistent visual world and easily consumable yet valuable content win. Stories is especially suited to two-way connection: question boxes, polls and behind-the-scenes let people look beneath the surface.
TikTok, by contrast, rewards authenticity and creativity over polish. Here a raw, honest, entertaining or educational video can travel further than a studio-quality production. It is worth getting a feel for trends, but always filtered through your own voice and values - following trends for their own sake is not credible. On both platforms, frequency and experimentation are key, because short-video reach is less predictable.
LinkedIn: the terrain of professional credibility
LinkedIn is a business environment where professional positioning, thought leadership and career-path stories work. Here it is not the product pitch but your professional insights, your entrepreneurial lessons and your credible presence that build prestige. The network marketing industry is surrounded by a lot of prejudice, so this is exactly where you have the chance to represent it professionally, without exaggeration.
LinkedIn content should be substantial and professional: lessons, processes, leadership insights. Relationship building here is conversation-based too, but the tone is more business-like. Here it is especially important that your profile conveys a consistent and credible picture of who you are and what you stand for.
Shared principles across every platform
Tactics differ from platform to platform, but a few principles hold everywhere. These are what keep your credibility intact while you adapt to the given environment.
- Adapt, do not copy: the message can stay, the form should adapt to the platform
- One primary platform, one secondary: do not try to be present on four at once, be excellent on one instead
- Follow the platform's rules: spam, unsolicited mass DMs and misleading claims penalize your account and your brand
- Never promise income or guaranteed results - this is equally harmful and risky on every platform
- Measure and learn: watch what resonates with the given audience and build further on that
The winner is not the one who is present everywhere, but the one who is truly present on one platform - in the language of the environment, yet in their own voice.
